It is definately a wow factor, the whole place is made entirely of ice, even the glasses that the drinks come in. Located in Jukkasjärvi in northern Sweden, the Icehotel features rooms entirely made out of sculptured ice from the neighboring Torne River. Warm rooms are also offered. A bookable sauna experience featuring a sauna, wood-burning hot tub and ice bath is available for a fee. Holding a temperature between -5 to -8 degrees Celsius, the individually themed cold rooms include hand-carved ice furnishings by international artists.

In spite what its name may suggest, Iceland does not have an ice hotel of its own, so we designed this holiday to offer the best of both worlds. 2017-11-29 Made anew each year by a crack team of architects, engineers and ice sculptors, the Icehotel in Sweden Lapland was the first of its kind. Located about 1500 kilometres north of Stockholm in the tiny village of Jukkajärvi, the entire structure is made in winter using snow and ice from the nearby Torne River. The menu has been developed in cooperation with ICEHOTEL in Jukkasjärvi and is inspired by the Swedish northern forests.
